The RSS feed will disappear but this link won't, all about certain "Doctors" criticising the BMA for not standing up for Patients
Newsflash - they never have - they represent the interests of (the most powerful and under managed group of churlish souls, known collectively as) the Medical establishment. There some selfless individuals out there - these are an exception - the majority feel they know best about everything. And haven't they been gently battered? See the articles on "Medicalising Child birth" Is it a coincidence that the Gov. move to an equitable wage deal (known as agenda for change) at the last minute did not include Medical staff? The BMA is the largest Lobbying organisation in the UK, and its members received 40% pay rises with promises of increases in productivity... Agenda for change brought the average worker a 2.5% increase. I often wonder about the point of these blogs - is its only effect to ease my blood pressure or is it to educate? Could I just identify a few more points before closing, at my local Hospital 120 student nurses qualified, due to cuts only 10 posts were available!! The WHO and epidemiologists are quietly fighting the "Bird flu" but when the Pandemic hits, you the public who have allowed your NHS to become over burdened with red tape and bureaucracy and influenced by the most self centred individuals going (Medical Staff), who are you going to want - experienced and competent Nursing staff. You won't find them -as they will all be working at Aldi - and earning more. Tuesday, May 16

The problems facing the NHS are causing concern - funding of Healthcare is proving to be expensive and complex, I find the BBC quite helpful on this, of course as this is a blog I do have my own ideas.
If you do look at the BBC site do notice that the 40% wage rises and NO increase in productivity have been played down by the notorious BMA, who even had the audacity to whine when the Government stated it was adding a cost of living rise of approx 2.5%, giving the "Lesser mortals" 2.25% in one rise whilst theirs was split...! I worry that the efficiencies seem to be driven by a financial premise, hey when the mighty Bevan started the whole thing he had to silence the medical whingers by stuffing their mouths gold. Beveridge and Bevan both underestimated the BMA and the 50's suppressed public's greed, if you are interested in the history - check out how quickly the optician and dental services were quickly returned to a part paying format. The NHS was set-up with the fiscal premise that if you chuck money at a problem you will make some headway. Unfortunately with health - remove diphtheria and the next bug/disease steps up to be counted. Why do we have to have this constant pendulum approach to health, playing political points only wastes energies and - to me - bores the pant of a voter. I would like health seen as my right, the shift from diagnosis, treatment and the medical power base may prove uncomfortable - but the idea has merits for debateThursday, March 9

Time flies and it has for the last few months, or is it that as I become older and slow down time appears faster - relative to me??
All I know is I return home from work, the kids are rattling about the house like three dried peas in a big tin can, then all of a sudden they've gone to bed and - I've missed them. I'm trying to improve myself - be a good dad - time doesn't let me have much leaway for mistakes!! - notice how I avoided useing the "BUT" word there. Oh have also bought myself another website - where I hope to be selling my services to build websites. I am aiming for the clubs and small business market wanting an inexpensive but professional start. Have a look, and tell me what you think. Must start thinking of something really life changing to discuss here as comments appear as common as Hens teeth on this site. Monday, January 16

Hello, and happy new year. Have been snowed under with work, wanted to write but didn't have chance.
I've been wondering on what to start the year off about, but really can't be bothered - I just hope you and yours are as safe and health as can be. Wednesday, December 28

What a lovely Christmas...
![]() The Snow is now an inch or so thick and is making everything look beautiful. The Kids have still presents to play with and I'm Lego'd out. I have had a bit of a kicking on the net The Police - their site implies this is too small to handle as I haven't really been robbed or anything. Even Checked the CIA - as I had a email from them (a spoof admittedly) containing a nasty worm - bless the Virus Killer - stopped it before I even saw the email. Tried to trace it myself through who-is - no such luck!! Oh well - perhaps all will be clear in the new year - Happy New Year to you and yours Saturday, November 26

Have sorted the RSS feeds, duh - I think the info was going into my
head, skipping any association with any grey matter, then speeding out
somewhere else.
I would like to sort the "look and feel on this page", another Blog of mine uses style sheets that are editable - I bet I can on this one - just not found the right buttons to press. Wednesday, November 23
